About the Project
The farm covers a total of 804 hectares, located in San Ramón de Alajuela, bordering a conservation reserve of the University of Costa Rica (UCR).
The farm currently has an active contract with FONAFIFO for the conservation of 229.5 hectares of primary forest, signed in November 2023 for a 10-year period. A contract for the natural regeneration of 85 hectares is in the process of being approved. Two new primary forest conservation contracts are also planned: one for 215 hectares and the other for 70 hectares.
